My name is Alix Sloan. I've been working in Advertising, PR & Marketing for 25+ years. I've also been working with creatives as a Consultant and Coach for over two decades. Eight years ago, I became a Certified Social Media Strategist and Advertising Specialist and also began creating online courses to help artists navigate the business side of the arts. In 2020, I completed Cara Stein's Book Marketing Certification program and began collaborating with Passion Project Publishing, a group of writers, editors, marketers and strategists who provide editorial, marketing and consulting services to authors. I am also an author myself. In my courses for artists and authors I distill all that I've learned about business, marketing, and social media into straightforward, easy to follow courses tailored specifically for the challenges creatives face.
